Daily Yoga Practices of Co-Recovery
Codependents have a unique set of characteristics that often overlap with those of the addicts they love but are not exactly identical. Next Steps: Daily Yoga Practices of Co-Recovery, invites anyone who has an addict (or recovering addict) in their life to spend 7 weeks learning holistic self-nurturing practices found in Yoga, Ayurveda, 12-Steps and the 7 tenets of co-recovery to build self-esteem and redirect a healthy focus to themselves. Meditation and breath work will be included in each session to help participants relax and calm the mind/body while an all level yoga asana practice may be incorporated when appropriate. Other self- nurturing practices to reduce stress and anxiety and techniques for self- focusing will be discussed throughout the course.
The course is designed for anyone who has a friend, family member, partner or co-worker who is suffering from or who has suffered from addiction or other self-destructive behavior. Participants will be expected to respect the standard rules of anonymity.

Different types of meditation
Pranayama (breathing practices)
Self analysis tools used in business and Ayurveda
Weekly custom designed yoga asana practices (poses)
Laughing for enlightenment
